VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Committees Chairs and Members are chosen in February. If you are interested in a particular committee, let someone on the Board know. If you need the contact information for a Board member, you can download the member list from the Yahoo list or contact Mary Hofelich at mcstrnr@aol.com to have one sent to you. You can also check in the meeting room to see if there are any available. | Locate a venue, establish a budget, plan a menu, decorate, and work with the venue staff to coordinate a successful event. Advertise the event to the membership and taking reservations. Plan the event activities (the non food events) such as raffles, the gift exchange, any entertainment. Obtain donations for gift baskets and/or favors. Print the program. | Usually a team of 3 to 4 people. Take membership requests for reading or viewing material and buy these items when funds are available. Maintain the library. Make sure members are following the library rules on borrowing material and take down material that is not returned.
| Usually a team of 3 to 4 people. The seminars can deal with all aspects of training and the health of our dogs. Put on about 3 -4 seminars at AOC during the year. The committee personnel are responsible for contacting and getting seminar speakers, advertisement and registration for seminars, and running the seminar itself at AOC.

| Judges and Stewards for two shifts. We would like two 1 ½ hour shifts -- that way it gives everyone some time for their own dogs. Check in Table – 2-3 people.
| Editor - Responsible for announcing each approaching deadline and collecting reports, pictures, brags, etc. for each edition of the Tailwagger. The editor then compiles each issue and sends it for printing. Mailer - The Tailwagger mailer is responsible for picking the printed copies up from the printer and making it ready for mailing (stapling, folding, stamping and addressing) and mailing each issue. | Work with the training director and help with the set up and running of AOC classes. Usually 2 to 3 people on obedience committee and 2 to 3 people on agility committee.
