Criteria for advancement to next level

 Dogs must be non-aggressive toward other dogs and handlers in a group setting.

Dogs should be in relatively good physical condition (age, weight, movement, eyesight, etc.)

There should be a distinct relationship between dog and handler, one that is of a positive nature, demonstrating responsible handling, control, and good positive interaction between dog and handler.

Susan Garrett’s D.A.S.H. concept emphasized (desire, aptitude, speed, habitat)

Targeting work utilizing clicker and other methods of marking correct behaviors

Minimal very low height equipment introduced (planks, tippy boards, ladders, jumps, tunnels)

Dog must demonstrate a solid stay

Dog must demonstrate solid target and hand touches

Dog must demonstrate the ability to move into a sit/down on command

Dog must demonstrate a good reliable recall

Dog must demonstrate an acceptable level of self control

Dog must demonstrate an acceptable level of focus

Dog must demonstrate an acceptable level of off leash control
