A general meeting is held the second Friday of every other month -- January, March, May, July, September, November -- at the AOC Training Building.  Members are encouraged to attend.  The starting time is 7:00 p.m. -- November meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. Information about the meeting is included in the Tailwagger.

The Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012.  This year the banquet will be a luncheon from 12 noon to 4 pm.  We will once again be at Carmella's Banquet House in Rensselaer.  To download the sign-up form, click here or you can use the one in the in the January Tailwagger.  You must sign up for the banquet by February 10, 2012.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Toni Gatto-Chinery at tonigattochinery@yahoo.com 518-732-0065.

To submit your award information, you can download the AOC Awards Form or use the one in the November Tailwagger.  AWARD FORMS are due by January 8, 2012.

Please submit your form/faceplate only (not entire plaque) earlier if your dog has finished titling for 2011.

Form and faceplate (if dog has plaque) may be dropped off at AOC until January 8, 2012, mailed to Tammi Stock, 824 1st Street, Rensselaer, NY 12144 or if form only, emailed to tugnbonn@gmail.com with the subject line AOC PLAQUE.  It's important to use only this subject line as I will have an email filter set up to automatically send to a specific folder. Plaques/Pins will be awarded at the February 2012 banquet or can be picked up at AOC after the banquet.

Each member is responsible for his/her own form.  In the meeting room there is a file box in the cabinets set aside for members to keep their forms.


BUILDING USE

The building is available to members when classes aren't scheduled, and on weekends when the facility isn't being used for a show and go, training party, trial, seminar, etc. 

Policy:  A person must be a member in good standing for 6 months, attend at least one membership meeting other than the meeting they were voted in, and participate in at least one volunteer activity before being eligible to receive a key. To obtain a key, e-mail Meryl Winnie at meryl@arcon.bz

Members are charged a $5.00 fee for each training session; members may bring a guest for a $25 fee per training session.

All equipment MUST be put back against the walls before you leave.  Please be sure to turn off lights, lock the door and close the gate.

Remember, this building belongs to all of us.  Cleaning supplies are in the bathrooms and in the kitchen cabinets.  Everyone needs to do their share to keep the building clean.

The building will be cleaned on Mondays from 6:30 - 9:30 a.m.  Please allow our cleaning person to do her job -- work around her if necessary.
